Systematic Optimization

Whether it's the frame, wheels, stem, handlebars, or other crucial components, they are all co-developed and designed to ensure that the entire bike operates as a complete system. The most impactful changes in this redesign are to the front aerodynamic profile of the TCR, including the down tube, head tube, and stem/handlebar assembly. All have been re-engineered to enhance aerodynamic efficiency, featuring a clean, integrated appearance and an easy-to-adjust design for assembly and disassembly.

With a higher stiffness-to-weight ratio than its predecessor, new aerodynamic tubing, and a lighter overall weight, the all-new TCR delivers unparalleled acceleration and pedaling stiffness, helping riders win races at the most critical moments.

Integrated Aerodynamics

To further enhance overall aerodynamics, we used computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and wind tunnel testing to create new truncated ellipse tube shapes that significantly reduce drag when tested across a wider range of yaw angles.

MADE FASTER

This versatile road racer combines race-winning stiffness-to-weight with aerodynamic tube shaping and system integration. From the road-smoothing Variant seatpost to the composite WheelSystem, every piece is optimized as part of the system. The new OverDrive Aero steerer tube technology is combined with a Contact SL AeroLight stem and Contact SL handlebar to incorporate new internal cable routing for easy setup and adjustment, while integrated disc brakes and generous clearance for tires up to 33mm make it adaptable to all road conditions.
