This roof bike rack does not contact the bike frame, making it ideal for carbon frames. It accommodates all types of bikes, from mountain bikes to fat bikes. It loads easily and securely, without having to remove the front wheel. The Thule UpRide can be mounted quickly, easily and securely on either side of the roof rack. Since all loading operations are performed close to the roof, this bike rack makes it convenient to load bikes of any height onto any vehicle. To prevent theft, the bike rack can be locked to the car, and the bike can be locked to the bike rack using the integrated wire cable lock.
